About Me

 

Prior to Happy Healthy Me, Cathy graduated from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and immediately started working in the corporate world.  During this time, she discovered her love for baking and cooking.  Cathy also became a Reiki Master but had not fully understood the concept of healing others yet.

 

The love for cooking started later in life for Cathy.  The gift slowly emerged when she was getting to know her husband to be.  She would always experiment with different recipes and different types of foods to see what the outcome would taste, smell, look, and feel like.  Cooking is always at its best when there is someone to share the love.  To this day, she is still experimenting with new food items and creating tasty dishes.

 

After a few years in the corporate world she found herself often thinking that there was more to life than doing what others wanted you to get done.  She was finding that her heart was most content when she was doing what she loved to do.

 

After six years of walking against her path of life she took a leap of faith.  She left the corporate world and started her own business as a Personal Chef.  Through baking and cooking she realized that life can be simple and easy.  She learned that it’s fun to bring joy to others through what you love to do.  She left the practice of cooking for others to pursue alternative healing while still incorporating the practice of sharing good food and love to others.

 

Recently, she has added the practice of Animal Reiki because she has always been drawn to animals as a young child and wanted to find a way to reach out to communicate with them.  Animal Reiki is an outlet to help the four legged friends all around us.  

 

After five years from receiving her Reiki Mastership, Cathy has a better understanding of what Reiki can offer.  She has made Reiki her daily practice.
