Reiki Treatment
Reiki is a hands on healing art which involves the channeling of energy through the hands for the purpose of healing the body, mind, spirit, and emotions. This energy can be translated in its simplest form as universal life force energy.
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well being.
Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. It has no dogmas, and there is nothing you must believe in order to learn and use Reiki.
What to expect during a Reiki Treatment: You will be asked to lay down on a massage table, fully cloth except for your shoes. You may be asked to remove any watch or jewelry (rings, braceletes, pendants, etc.).
The Reiki practitioner will place her hands lightly on or above different parts of your body. The treatment can last about an hour. There is no pressure on the body making it ideal for treating all ages and conditions. The energy flows whenever it is required (spiritually guided) and can normally be felt as a warm sensation in the body. Receiving Reiki is a very relaxing and soothing experience!
